Tom Steen (known as Steeno to collectors around the country) has been a serious sports memorabilia collector/dealer since 1992. He started his collection at age 5, attending his first Yankee game watching Yankee baseball greats Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle. His 500-piece collection features the 1961 World Champion Yankees.
Over the past 15 years, Steeno has sponsored sports memorabilia fund raising events and signings. Many of the sports celebrities who have attended Steeno's events include: Whitey Ford, Bobby Thompson, Rod Gilbert and Walt Frazier just to mention a few. In total, Steeno has had 40 celebrities attend his events over the years.
Fund raising has been the center of many of Steeno's events with some "Sports Nites" raising $100,000 for several non-profits in the tri-state area. These events have included celebrity signings for guests along with a live/silent auction of Sports Collectables.
