What does it take to get started?
If you are ready here are some simple questions you need to ask before you decided on an event:
Nature and scope of appearance Meet & greet? Keynote speaker?
Autograph session?
Activity participation?
Spokesperson role?
Duration of appearance: One hour? An afternoon? More? Date, time and place of the event Lead time and location matter.
Your budget: Remember, today's athletes command fees commensurate on experience and avaiability.
Most athlete appearances start at about $5,000.
What is your product cost?
None, except shipping charges, where they apply. You keep the difference between your selling price and the wholesale price. Any unsold items are returnable.
Does SteenoSports make donations?
We do, as often as we can. We prefer to work from a consignment system that will allow you to make more money for no extra cost.
What about an athlete appearance?
Any athlete with whom we have an established relationship and who is not otherwise committed may be available for an appearance. Contact us with names.
Can SteenoSports run our auction?
Yes. Arrangements can be made for us to coordinate your event. Services included event management and setup, consultations with event committees, auctioneer service and any other services depending on your event.
What kinds of things factor into bigger sales?
The right combination of products and prices, as well as a sense of what your guests like, all factor into your success.
Can you provide references?
Upon request, we will be happy to forward contact information of past clients with characteristics similar to those of your organization.
