Springfield College Archives and Special Collections

As an Alum of Springfield College, I'm please to annouce a special collaboration with the college's Archives and Special Collections Department.

Thier Director, Jeff Monseau has ask us to find Springfiled College collectables for the school.

Here is some examlpes on what Jeff is looking for:

"I would also be very interested in early basketball hoops (1892 to about 1900) especially those made by the Narragansett Machine Company. I believe, according to the advertisements I have seen that these were some of the earliest made and they came in two types - a standing and one to attach to the wall. Both had pull cords that would pop the ball out. Also, early basketball rules books would be really good as well. I have some, but they are in very rough shape and it wouldn't hurt to have them be in mint condition"
